In such cases, we will offer alternative arrangements or a full refund for the cancelled portion of the service.

4. Travel Insurance

Arete Adventures strongly recommends that all clients purchase comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking. This insurance should cover cancellation, medical emergencies, personal liability, loss of luggage, and other unforeseen events. We are not responsible for any liabilities, costs, or losses incurred due to the absence of travel insurance coverage.

5. Client Responsibilities

• Passport and Visas: It is your sole responsibility to ensure you have a valid passport, any necessary visas, and comply with all entry requirements for the countries you are visiting.
• Health and Fitness: You must ensure you are medically and physically fit to participate in the chosen travel experiences. Please disclose any medical conditions or special needs at the time of booking.
• Conduct: You are expected to conduct yourself respectfully towards fellow travelers, guides, local cultures, and the environment. We reserve the right to remove any client from a tour in case of disruptive or inappropriate behavior, without refund.
• Compliance: You must comply with all local laws and regulations of the countries visited.

6. Limitation of Liability

Arete Adventures acts solely as an agent in arranging travel services and does not own or operate any third-party suppliers, such as airlines, hotels, or transportation companies. We are not liable for any loss, damage, injury, delay, or inconvenience caused by or resulting from the acts or omissions of third-party suppliers, including but not limited to negligence, breach of contract, or any other fault.

Our liability, if any, for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid by you for the specific service in question.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on our Online Platform, including text, graphics, logos, images, and other materials, is the property of Arete Adventures or its content suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content without our express written permission.
